Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data ForeclosureCalc.com collects, why, and how to opt out. ForeclosureCalc is aimed at a United States audience, and this policy is written for U.S. privacy law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA.

What we collect

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, address, or any application data. You can read the entire site without giving us anything. The only data collected is standard, aggregate analytics about how the site is used.

Analytics

We use third-party analytics to understand which pages are useful and where the site needs work:

• Google Analytics 4 — collects standard pageview data, device type, approximate location (country/region), and aggregate behavior. We do not enable advertising features, demographics, or signals. Data flows to Google under their privacy policy.
• Microsoft Clarity — records anonymous session heatmaps and click patterns. Form-input and text fields are auto-redacted before any data leaves your browser. Data flows to Microsoft under their privacy statement.

Your choice: opt out any time

Analytics is on by default, and you can opt out at any time. Click Cookie settings in the footer and switch Analytics off, or choose Reject analytics on the cookie notice. Your choice is saved in your browser and stops Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity from loading on later visits. You can also use a tracker-blocking extension (such as uBlock Origin or Privacy Badger) or your browser's Do-Not-Track / Global Privacy Control signal, which we honor where sent.

Cookies

The analytics services above set cookies only after the page loads with analytics enabled. We do not set first-party tracking cookies of our own beyond a small flag that remembers your cookie choice. If you opt out, the site continues to work normally — only the analytics are affected.

We do not sell or share your data

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are used under the CCPA/CPRA. We do not run a mailing list. If you email us, we keep your message only to reply.

Your California rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of any sale or sharing. We do not sell or share, and you can stop analytics collection at any time through Cookie settings. To make a request, email info@foreclosurecalc.com.

Children

This site is intended for adults dealing with a mortgage or foreclosure. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, email info@foreclosurecalc.com and we will delete it.

Material changes are dated below. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.
